On Mathieu-type series whose terms contain a generalized hypergeometric function and Meijer’s G-function

Integral expressions are given for some families of Mathieu-type a-series and alternating a-series in the case when the series terms contain: (i) the generalized hypergeometric functions ve&_udi=B6V0V-4P61N60-1&_mathId=mml3&_user=1067359&_cdi=5656&_rdoc=14&_acct=C000050221&_version=1&_userid=10&md5=748590e95b1f7477ee06bddd184744dd">mageURL/B6V0V-4P61N60-1-8S/0?wchp=dGLbVlb-zSkzk" alt="View the MathML source" title="View the MathML source" align="absbottom" border="0" height=15 width="27"/> and (ii) Meijer’s ve&_udi=B6V0V-4P61N60-1&_mathId=mml4&_user=1067359&_cdi=5656&_rdoc=14&_acct=C000050221&_version=1&_userid=10&md5=00a21284faccfa664fa638671f216ab7" title="Click to view the MathML source" alt="Click to view the MathML source">G-function. Using the derived integral representations, bounding inequalities are obtained for these series. The derived integral expressions and the consequent two-sided bounding inequalities generalize some known results published recently by the authors and H.M. Srivastava.
