Skiing is leading to a risk of injuries. Beginners have higher risk of injuries. The authors report an uncommon case of an amateur alpine skiing, who sustained mid-diaphyseal tibial fracture in association with an ipsilateral talus fracture. After intramedullary nailing of closed tibial shaft fracture and screw fixation of the talus fracture, at review after 6聽months, he has returned to full function with no complications.
