The
nonlinear refraction of chlorophosphonazo I (CPA I) was investigated using the Z-scan technique with a pulse Nd:YAG laser and a cw He

sources. Positive and large
nonlinear refractive index attributed to resonant electronic
nonlinear effect was observed under pulse 532 nm excitation. Under cw He

nonlinear optical devices.
