A new pancreatic lipase inhibitor from Broussonetia kanzinoki

摘要
A new phenolic compound, broussonone A (1) were isolated from the stem barks of Broussonetia kanzinoki (Moraceae), together with two diphenylpropanes, broussonin A (2), broussonin B (3), two flavans, 7,4鈥?dihydroxyflavan (4), 3鈥?7-dihydroxy-4鈥?methoxyflavan (5), and two flavones, 3,7-dihydroxy-4鈥?methoxyflavone (6), 3,7,3鈥?trihydroxy-4鈥?methoxyflavone (7). Compound 1 showed noncompetitive inhibitory activity on pancreatic lipase with an IC50 of 28.4 渭M. In addition, compounds 1-5 significantly inhibited adipocyte differentiation in 3T3-L1 cells as measured fat accumulation using Oil Red O assay.
