Comments on 鈥淎ustenite stability of ultrafine-grained transformation-induced plasticity steel with Mn partitioning鈥?by S. Lee, S.J. Lee and B.C. De Cooman, Scripta Materialia 65 (2011) 225-228
摘要
It has recently been suggested that the size effect and the enriched Mn concentration of ultrafine austenite grains are the two main contributors to austenite stability. We argue here that the chemical composition of austenite, particularly the C content, and the hydrostatic pressure on the transforming austenite grains are the intrinsic factors that affect the stability, rather than the austenite grain size.
