Experimental investigation of 纬-ray attenuation coefficients for granites

摘要

The linear attenuation coefficients of 纬-rays for some granite samples have been measured at 662, 1773 and 1332 keV. The 纬-rays have been obtained from ¹³⁷Cs and ⁶⁰Co sources respectively and the measurement have been performed using a gamma spectrometer which contains 3鈥?#xA0;脳 3鈥?NaI(Tl) detector connected to 16384 channel Multi-Channel-Analyser (MCA).
