Elastic moduli and thermal properties of La0.83Sr0.17MnO3

摘要
We have investigated elastic moduli c11, c12 and c44 of La0.83Sr0.17MnO3 in cubic phase using Rigid Ion Model (RIM) at temperature che/MiamiImageURL/B6TVW-4R2RMXY-2-21/0?wchp=dGLbVlb-zSkzk" alt="Click to view the MathML source" align="absbottom" border="0" height=12 width=117>. The elastic moduli computed by us show an anomalous behaviour with the variation of temperature. Our results on the elastic moduli for the temperature range che/MiamiImageURL/B6TVW-4R2RMXY-2-3T/0?wchp=dGLbVlb-zSkzk" alt="Click to view the MathML source" align="absbottom" border="0" height=12 width=118> are in good agreement with resonant ultrasound spectroscopy measured data. Furthermore, we have reported the Specific heat at different temperature to examine the electron-lattice interaction of La0.83Sr0.17MnO3. Besides, the results on cohesive and thermal properties are also discussed.
