摘要
We consider the dynamics of capillary condensation and evaporation in model pore networks in the context of a recently developed dynamic mean field theory. We have applied this theory to three types of networks: (a) a network of slit pores with a single pore width; (b) a network of slit pores with two pore widths arranged in intersecting channels with a single pore width in each channel; (c) a network of slit pores with two pore widths forming an array of inkbottles. The results illustrate the effects of pore connectivity upon the dynamics of vapor-liquid phase transformations as well as on the mass transfer resistances to equilibration. Even when the pores in the network operate independently with respect to thermodynamics, the equilibration dynamics may be sensitive to the connectivity.
