The working group of the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine (SEMI) on 鈥淐ompetencies of the Internist鈥?has defined the basic medical knowledge, skills and attitudes that all internists in Spain should have. This list of competencies represents the Internal Medicine core curriculum within the context of the future educational framework of medical specialties in Health Sciences.
