To evaluate if type 2 diabetes mellitus increase gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) levels of prostaglandin Eb>2b> (PGEb>2b>), interleukin-1beta (IL-1ß), tissue-type plasminogen activator (t-PA), and plasminogen activator inhibitor-2 (PAI-2).
