摘要

The spectroscopic study of Nd³⁺ in β-Nd³⁺:LaSc₃(BO₃)₄ crystal has been performed. Based on Judd–Ofelt theory, the spectral parameters were obtained: the parameters of line strengths Ω_λ are Ω₂=2.85×10⁻²⁰ cm², Ω₄=3.69×10⁻²⁰ cm², Ω₆=4.73×10⁻²⁰ cm², the radiative lifetime is 226 μs, thus, the quantum efficiency is 49.4%, and the fluorescence branch ratios were calculated: β₁=0.397, β₂=0.499, β₃=0.099.
