摘要
To obtain the polymer with the application in medium- and low-permeability oil layers and good ageing property, the hydrophobically acrylamide-modfied terpolymer (PAAB) with sodium 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulphonate (NaAMPS) and a aromatic hydrophobic monomer (VB) was synthesized by the micellar coporymerization. The polymerization conditions of PAAB were studied, and the polymer was determined by elementary analysis, UV, FT-IR, and 1HNMR. The hydrophobic microblock structure of PAAB was measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and the thermal stability of PAAB was analyzed by thermogravimetry (TG). The results show that the incorporation of large aromatic groups into the PAAB polymer can increase the rigidity of molecular chains, resulting in the good thermal property of the polymer. The measurement results for intrinsic viscosities of PAAB indicate that the molecular weights of polymers are low because of steric obstruction of the hydrophobic monomer, and the breakage of the polymer chains can not occur at high shear rate. The feed amount of VB greatly influences the apparent viscosity of PAAB solution, and the polymer exhibits salt-thickening, temperature-thickening, thixotropy, anti-shearing, and good anti-ageing property at 80℃because of the corporation of aromatic rings into molecules. The associating microstructure in the aqueous solution of PAAB was observed by ESEM, and the result shows that three-dimensional networks are formed because of strong hydrophobic associations, and also reveals that thickening properties of the PAAB polymer solution are mainly dependent on the hydrophobically associating structure. The results show that the PAAB polymer can be applied inmedium-and low-permeability oil layers with high temperature and salinity.
