摘要
Transient molten steel flow in a slab continuous casting mold has been calculated using large eddy simulation, considering the heat transfer and solidification. The transport of bubbles in the liquid pool of the solidified shell is considered according to the dispersed phase model. The influence of bubble size, casting speed and non-metallic inclusions adsorption on bubble removal, and bubble distribution within the solidified shell in mold have been evaluated using this mathematical model. The results show that the ratio of bubble floating to the top surface decreases with casting speed rising, and increases with bubble diameter decreasing. The effect of non metallic inclusions adsorption on the bubbles removal is weak.
