摘要
Mobility of each phase in multi-phase fluid flow in porous media is defined as the ratio of effective permeability to viscosity of specific phase. The question is how to define the mobility of a multi-phase fluid system considered as one phase. It is significant to define such a parameter. It is known that oil production is not directly proportional to permeability. Is it possible to define a parameter which is directly proportional to oil production or production performance? To this end, the concept of global mobility in the case of two-phase fluid flow was proposed in mis article to characterize the mobility of a two-phase fluid system considered as one fluid. The production rate at a specific oil recovery was also proposed to represent the production performance. It was found that the production performance was directly proportional to the global mobility based on the experimental data from rock/oil/water systems with different permeability and different interfacial tension.
