摘要
Crude polysaccharide (HFS) was extracted by 0.1M HC1 firom Sargassum fusiforme (Hizikia fusiforme). Then it was firactionated by anion-exchange chromatography into three fractions HFS-1, HFS-2 and HFS-3, respectively.Chemical analysis indicated that HFS-1 was laminarin,-HFS-2 was the mixture of alginate and sulfated heteropolysaccharides and HFS-3 was mainly sulfated galactofucan. It was concluded that HFS-1 was a soluble laminarin with chains that are terminatedbyβ-D-glucose residues by NMR and 2D NMR spectra. However, -HFS-2 was still complex after the most alginate was removed. And HFS-3 might contain 3-1inked fucan sulfated at C-2, 6-1inked galactan sulfated C-2 and branched at C-4 by Fuc or 2-sulfated Fuc, galactofucan with a backbone of alternating Gal and Fuc sulfated at C-2 or alternating (Gal)n and (Fuc)n sulfated at C-2.In addition, HFS-3 still had some fucoglucuronomannan and xylan.
