摘要
In the warm and humid climate zone, both of air temperature and relative humidity are the most important factorsamong the environmental factors affecting human thermal comfort. In order to achieve the thermal sensation and comfort model inthis climate, a laboratory-based human subject tests on thermal comfort were conducted in Chongqing with twenty subjects. Theambient temperatures were set at four different levels:26℃, 28℃, 30℃, 32℃. The relative humidity was maintained at threedifferent levels: 40%, 60%, 80%. Their thermal sensation votes were gathered for twelve experimental conditions. The resultsanalysis indicated that thermal sensation was very sensitive to air temperature and relative humidity, especially in the warmenvironment. With increasing the relative humidity, the negative effects on the thermal sensation were more obvious; the localsegments of body could be separated as three groups, the local segments of head, chest and back are slightly warmer than the overall. They are better segments which were cool simulated for moderating the human thermal comfort in warm environment. Comparingthe PMV, the mean votes and regression mean votes are higher in the warm environment but lower in the slightly cool environment, which proved that human had the adaption capability, and there were obvious deviation using the PMV model to evaluate the thermalenvironment in warm and humid environment. Therefore, while assessing the thermal environment in warm environment, both of thetemperature and relative humidity should be considered.
