国内专门用途英语研究现状评述——基于CiteSpace的可视化分析

摘要
借助CiteSpace的信息可视化技术,以中国知网1989年至2018年有关专门用途英语研究文献为数据来源,绘制该研究的科学知识图谱,对研究现状进行评述。分析发现,我国专门用途英语的热点话题主要涉及覆盖学科、现状探究、教学方式、人才培养等,研究前沿课题包括"一带一路"背景下的专门用途英语、应用型人才培养、通用英语与专用英语之争等。
By employing documents of English for Specific Purposes(ESP) studies in CNKI from 1989 to 2018 as main data sources, this paper draws a scientific knowledge map of ESP research with the use of the new scientometric tool CiteSpace in order tocomment the status quo of domestic ESP studies. It shows that hot topics in this research field include the coverage of disciplines, the exploration of development status, the teaching methods and the cultivation of competent personnel. The frontier research issues include ESP against the background of The Belt and Road Initiative,the training of application-oriented talents and the debate between English for specific purposes(ESP) and English for General Purposes(EGP). With the Belt and Road Initiativegoes on, domestic ESP studies will see even broader prospect of development.
