摘要
目的了解中国西部地区医学留学生教育现状,分析影响教育水平的因素,为医学留学生教育的发展提供建设性意见。方法选取2011—2016年度西安交通大学医学部在读医学留学生173名作为研究对象,采用问卷调查方式对其一般资料、生活、学习情况及未来规划等进行调查。结果语言和沟通障碍、经济负担及单一的社会关系是阻碍医学留学生适应中国生活的关键因素;不能适应中国式教学方式、上课听不懂、课本不合适、缺乏复习材料及学习积极性不高是影响留学生学习的主要因素;留学生对教学质量满意度堪忧,仅有4.6%感到非常满意;关于未来计划,大部分留学生选择回国。结论我国西部地区医学留学生教育现状不容乐观,仍面临着巨大的挑战,政府和学校需发挥主要作用从各方面来提高医学留学生教育水平。
        Objective To understand the education current situation of foreign medical students in western China,analyze the factors affecting the level of education, and to provide constructive suggestions for the education development of foreign medical students. Methods A total of 173 cases of foreign medical students in the medical department of Xi'an Jiaotong University from 2011 to 2016 were selected as the research objects, and their general information, life, learning and future planning were investigated by questionnaire. Results Language and communication barriers, economic burden and single social relationship were the key factors that hinder foreign medical students from adapting to Chinese life.Failure to adapt to Chinese-style teaching methods, incomprehension in class, inappropriate textbooks, lack of review materials and low learning motivation were the main factors affecting foreign students' learning. The satisfaction of foreign students with teaching quality was worrying, only 4.6% of them were very satisfied with it. Regarding future plans, most of the foreign students chose to return home. Conclusion The education current situation of foreign medical students in western China is not optimistic, and it still faces great challenges. The government and schools should play a major role in improving the education level of foreign medical students from all aspects.
