Sisheng Xinyuan written by HUANG Yuanyu combined five elements with Taichi, explained the meaning of Taichi,Sixiang and Zhongqi, and elaborated the law of unity of opposites. The theory in the nature was used to human body to explain the medicine, simplifying some complicated diseases, which inspired the later generations. HUANG Yuanyu emphasized on Zhongqi and Yang, considering that Zhongqi prone to be affected by dampness and all kinds of diseases caused by the dysfunction of spleen and stomach. Therefore he emphasized invigorating Qi of the spleen and stomach as the core ideology. Huangya decoction was created by HUANG Yuanyu. The word "Huangya" can be traced back to Zhouyi Cantongqi by WEI Boyang, the great alchemist in Eastern Han dynasty. Huangya decoction reflected the correspondence between human and nature,as well as the upward and downward movement of the spleen and stomach.Huangya decoction tonifying Yang but not impairing Yin,harmonized Yin and Yang of the body for the balance of Yin and Yang.
