基于DIC算法的万兆以太网RS发送控制方法研究

摘要
围绕万兆以太网帧连续发送时帧间隔控制、帧对齐与XGMII时序配合等问题,提出了一种基于DIC算法的万兆以太网RS发送控制方法,并进行了实验验证。该方法连续发送万兆以太网帧时帧间隔收敛于12个IDLE字符,平均帧间隔较直接插入IDLE字符法减少了22.58%,提高了万兆以太网帧连续发送效率。
        To solve the problems that the IFG(Inter-Frame-Gap)control,frame alignment and the 10 Gigabit Media Independent Interface(XGMII)efficient timing cooperation are difficult in continuous transmission of Ethernet frames,a 10-Gigabit Ethernet RS transmission control method based on DIC algorithm was put forward in this paper.The results of verification prove that this method can make the number of idle characters in IFG converge to 12.Compared with the way to insert additional idle characters directly to align the start of preamble on the boundary,this method will reduce the average idle characters by 22.58%.So the rate of 10-Gigabit Ethernet frames continuous transmission can be improved in this way.
