摘要
为了有效解决高频毫米波信号源产生困难的问题,提出了一种基于级联双平行偏振调制器(DP-Pol M)的无光滤波16倍频可调毫米波信号生成方案。首先合理设置第一个DP-Pol M射频驱动电压和偏振角度,可以获得光载波和4阶边带信号,所得信号被送入第二个DP-Pol M,其参数设置和第一个DP-Pol M一样,可以获得8阶边带信号,经光电转换后得到了射频杂散抑制比(RFSSR)为37d B的160GHz毫米波信号。针对非理想因素如调制指数精度和移相器相位偏差也作了仿真和分析,结果证明该方案系统稳定,生成的信号频谱纯度高,具有很高的频率可调谐性。
        In order to effectively solve the problem of high-frequency millimeter-wave source generation, a filterless frequency 16-tupling multiplication tunable millimeter-wave signal generation scheme based on cascade dual parallel polarization modulator(DP-Pol M) is proposed. Firstly, the optical carrier and 4 order sidebands are obtained by properly setting RF drive voltage and polarization angle of the first DP-Pol M, the generated signals are sent to the second DP-Pol M which parameters are same with the first DP-Pol M, then, the 8 order sidebands are obtained. The 160 GHz millimeter-wave signal is generated with a radio frequency sideband suppression ratio(RFSSR) of 37 d B after photoelectric conversion. Further, the non-ideal factors such as modulation index precision and phase deviation of phase shifters are also analyzed, the results show that the system is stable, the signal spectrum purity is high and the frequency tunability is wide.
