Objective :To explore the relationship between digit ratio and physical fitness test, and to speculate the relationship between the digit ratio and the various physical fitness. Methods :University students of two colleges in Jinzhou City were selected randomly as the research objects. Their finger length of both hands, and scores of physical test were measured, and factors that were associated with physical test were investigated. The relationship between digit ratio and scores of physical test was analysed. Results :There were differences between males and females in digit ratio, except 3D∶4D of left hands and 2D∶3D of right hands. There were differences between 2D∶4D of right hands of males and their scores of 50 m sprint, 1 000 m, and standing long jump. There were differences between 2D∶4D of right hands of females and their scores of total score, 50 m sprint, 800 m, standing long jump, and situp. Individual grades were stratified and compared, and there were differences between the different grades of total score, 50 m sprint and standing long jump in both males and female. Conclusion :There is a certain negative correlation between the digit ratio and the scores of physical fitness test of university students in Jinzhou, especially the speed and stamina.
