《译者的任务》翻译对比研究

摘要
本雅明《译者的任务》已经受到许多中国学者的关注和研究,但译界对其中的很多观点仍然莫衷一是。从"翻译与人的关系"、"意指对象、意指方式和纯语言的关系"以及"译者的天职"等三个方面出发,对比分析了一些国内通行的《译者的任务》汉译本,去伪存真,最大限度地厘清了歧义与误读。得出了"翻译的本质不因人改变"、"纯语言来自于意指对象和意指方式的作用"以及"译者的天职是寻找纯语言、重建巴别塔"等结论,并梳理出本雅明翻译哲学思想的逻辑框架,为今后的翻译理论研究提供了有益启示。
Walter Benjamin's essay The Task of the Translator has been studied by many Chinese scholars during the last tw o decades. How ever,scholars cannot still reach an agreement on some basic points. In such a situation,the author compared some Chinese versions w ith reference to some English versions from the perspective of "the relationship betw een translation and human beings","the relationship among the intended object,the modes of intention and the pure language"as well as "the translator's task"to figure out Benjamin's real intention and correct some misinterpretations. This study then came to conclusions that "The essence of translation is not determined by human beings","the pure language comes from the interaction betw een the intended object and its modes of intention"and "translator's task is to pursue pure language and rebuild the Tow er of Babel". In the end,this study presented a logic structure of Benjamin's translation theory,providing guide for future translation studies.
