Stuffiness of stomach belongs to the category of "Stagnation syndrome" in traditional Chinese medicine. In "Nei Jing",it is called "Ruffians", "Congestion" and " Interval" and so on. Clinically, there are six common types of food stagnation, retention of invisible phlegm-dampness in the middle, retention of damp-heat in the stomach, disharmony between liver and stomach, weakness of the spleen and stomach, and deficiency of stomach yin. Among them, phlegm-dampness in the middle-jiao is the most common type. This disease is the most common disease. The patient's condition is repeated, lingering and difficult to heal. In view of this, professor Feng Quansheng believes that the movement of qi is not smooth. Specifically, the qi ascending and descending dereliction of duty of spleen and stomach are the main mechanism of the disease. He also believes that "dredging method" is the solution to treat the disease, which has been proved to be effective in clinical treatment and has accumulated rich clinical experience.
