The thought of syntactic structure casts and infuses in the process of literary criticism of "Romance of West Chamber" by Jin Shengtan, and it plays the role of guidance, correction and adjustment. The research of the literary criticism of "Romance of West Chamber" by Jin Shengtan from the perspective of syntactic structure, analyzes the narrative theory of Jin Shengtan with the functions and values of syntactic structure, showing the logical and systematic characteristics of the criticism theory of Jin Shengtan. The influence of Jin Shengtan's criticism theory continued until the late Qing Dynasty and even the modern period of China, which contributed to the formation of the basic form of Chinese modern literature to a certain extent. This will lay a solid foundation for the contemporary transformation of the Chinese classical literary theory.
