Objective: To understand the current status of reproductive health and contraceptive knowledge of unmarried college students and the influential factors,so as to provide scientific basis for further education and service. Methods: In mid-November 2017,the subjects were selected by multistage stratified cluster random sampling method and the questionnaires were adopted for investigation. The data were statistically analyzed with SPSS 21. 0 statistical software. Results: A total of 497 valid questionnaires were collected. The accuracy rates of reproductive health knowledge such as menstrual cycle, pregnancy time and contraceptive measures of female students were higher than those of male students, with statistically significant difference( P < 0. 05). The accuracy rates of reproductive health knowledge such as sexually transmitted diseases, contraceptive knowledge such as the correct use of condoms, and rate of male students in favor of premarital sex were higher than those of female students, with statistically significant difference( P < 0. 05). The accuracy response rates of reproductive health and contraceptive knowledge of medical students were higher than that of non-medical students, with statistically significant difference( P < 0. 05). The accuracy response rates of reproductive health and contraceptive knowledge of senior students were higher than those of junior students, with statistically significant difference( P < 0. 05). The rate of senior students in favor of premarital were higher than that of junior students, with statistically significant difference( P < 0. 05). Conclusions: Although umarried college students are aware of reproductive health and contraception knowledge in certain degrees, the knowledge is not systematic and accuracy which still needs to be further strengthened. It is necessary to provide systematical and comprehensive reproductive health and contraception knowledge according to the characteristics of college students.
