Objective To investigate the effect of electrocoagulation and surgical suture for hemostasis after operation on ovarian function in patients with ovarian cysts. Methods 73 patients undergoing ovarian cysts culling from August 2016 to July 2017 were divided into groups for studying, and another 73 patients were divided into electrocoagulation group(n=35)and suture group(n=38)on the basis of voluntary principle. The patients in the electrocoagulation group(n=35)were treated with bipolar electrocoagulation for hemostasis while patients in the suture group were treated with surgical suture for hemostasis. The ovarian function of the two groups six months after the operation was compared. Results The statistics showed that in the electrocoagulation group, the estradiol(E2)was(257.6±43.7)pmol/L,the follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)was(9.03±2.43)U/L and the luteinizing hormone(LH)was(14.79±3.38)U/L after operation. The three indexes of suture group were respectively(330.5±41.7) pmol/L,(7.00±2.09)U/L and(11.86±3.06)U/L.There were statistical significances in the indexes between the two groups(t=7.292,P=0.000),(t=3.835,P=0.000),(t=3.887,P=0.000).Conclusions The short-term effect of surgical suture for hemostasis on ovarian function after ovarian cyst surgery was less than that of bipolar electrocoagulation, but there was no scientific study that the decline of ovarian function was a permanent result.
