<正>2015年剑桥大学出版的《詹姆斯·麦迪逊的思想:古典共和主义的遗产》(以下简称《遗产》)一书(1),是近年来麦迪逊政治思想研究中的学术佳作,不仅重新书写了麦迪逊的政制设计和古典共和主义之间的关系,更为理解美国政制与政治哲学的关系提供了新视角。作者科林·希恩执教于杜克大学政治学系,是研究麦迪逊政治哲学思想的著名学者。众所周知,在美国早期政治思想史研究领域,施特劳斯学派和共和主义学派是最重要的两个阐释派别,两
