In order to study the effect of oil phase material on stability of emulsion matrix, three kinds of composite wax as oil phase of emulsion matrix was selected. The viscosity and acid value of the oil phase material were measured, as well as the crystallization rate of each sample was measured after the high-low temperature cycling experiment. Meanwhile, based on the microstructures of three groups of latex matrix samples and thermal decomposition characteristics, the stability of emulsion matrix was studied. The study indicate that the stable storage of emulsion matrix will become worse as oil phase material with low viscosity and high acid value, and the emulsion matrix with good thermal stability is beneficial to its storage stability.
