摘要

宁德古田吉祥寺塔的建筑特征及其雕刻艺术有着强烈的地域风格,其建筑造型参照了同圣寺塔的建筑样式,同时又继承吴越国时期楼阁式实心石塔的建筑构造,并根据古田地方特色与民风民俗进行适当的改造,是福建楼阁式实心石塔的典范,对福建沿海其他楼阁式实心塔有着深远影响。
        There is a strong localcolor in the architectural features and the carving art of the pagoda of Jixiang Temple in Gutian, Ningde. The architecture take the model of the Pagoda of Tongsheng Temple as reference and imitates the building structure of the tower-typed solid stone pagoda built in the period of Wu and Yue Kingdom. Transformed appropriately with the vernacular and traditional style of Gutian, the pagoda, a masterpiece of the tower-typed solid stone pagoda in Fujian, influences the like along the coast of Fujian.
