厦门与汕头侨乡的近代服务业建筑文化比较

摘要
厦门与汕头侨乡近代服务业发达,并在建筑文化中有所反映,其中厦门建筑文化侧重于娱乐性,以影剧院建筑为代表;而汕头侧重于商务性,以旅栈业建筑为代表。这种差异源于二者不同的社会经济结构。从家庭和职业结构看,厦门人口中以侨眷为重要组成的无业人口多于汕头,他们具有较高的消费能力,促成了娱乐业建筑的繁荣。而汕头商业人口更多,无业人口较少,历年海关出入人数也多于厦门,建筑文化因此表现出更多的商务性特征。
As hometown of overseas Chinese, the service industry of Modern Xiamen and Shantou was highly developed, which also presents in architectural culture. In Xiamen, architectural culture primarily focused on entertainment, it's representative works are mainly cinemas. In Shantou, representative buildings are usually hotels, which focused on business. This difference was mainly caused by their specific social and economic structure. Seen on family and occupational structure, the size of unemployed population which most are relatives of overseas Chinese, they often had a strong consumption power, and so promoted the development of entertainment. But in Shantou where businessmen are the main population, and less unemployed, and where the number of immigration was much more than Xianmen every year, so it's architectural culture presents a commercial feature significantly.
