摘要
传统大学英语课堂翻译教学主要是对西方文化的介绍,忽视了中西方文化的互相渗透和使用外语导出本土文化的意义。这样的教学理念导致学生用外语表达本土文化内容的能力较弱。作为一项高风险考试,大学英语四、六级考试中翻译题型改革的反拨效应促使教师学生在翻译教学中应顺应历史的潮流,立足本土文化,强化多元文化背景下的文化输出作用,切实增强学生用外语表达本土文化的能力,从而从根本上提高我国大学英语的教学效果。
Traditional English teaching classes tend to focus on introducing culture of English-spoken countries.Consequently,students usually fail to introduce Chinese culture with proper English.So it is important to enhance students' intercultural communication competence.The measurable influence of the reform in CET-4 on college English teaching is self-evident,especially in the translation part.Relevant requirements for the college English translation as well as the backwash effect towards the teachers and students are discussed on the basis of teaching practice.
