Early from the 1970s to the 1990s, David Mamet, an American playwright, wrote a series of commercial plays, vividly portraying the fierce fights between two sides in the American business world, and thoroughly disclosing the essence of the capitalists who, in order to seek self interests, could violate the rules of business ethics. They are also best footnotes for the slogan "America First" raised by Donald Trump, the 45 th American president. Therefore, it is not difficult for readers to detect the message of warning from those plays when we read them again today.
