叙事视角与《百舌鸟之死》探析

摘要
小说《百舌鸟之死》是美国南方女作家哈帕·李的第一部小说。从第一人称限制视角和全知视角两方面对其叙事视角进行分析,探讨了两种视角在作品中的表现及应用,两种视角又是如何呈现哥特式主观性叙事特征的,进而论证叙事视角对推动小说《百舌鸟之死》哥特主题的重大意义。
To Kill A Mockingbird is the first novel written by Harper Lee,a female writer from the American South. In terms of the narrative point of view,it was analyzed from two aspects for the first-person limited perspective and the omniscient perspective to explore how these two perspectives are presented and applied in this novel as well as how the gothic subjective narrative features are reflected through the performance of these two perspectives. And then the significant role of the narrative point of view in To Kill A Mockingbird in promoting the Gothic theme is to be demonstrated.
