摘要
三峡工程是治理开发和保护长江的关键性骨干工程,其成功建成和运转,实现了中华民族百年梦想。三峡工程从构想、勘测、规划、论证、设计到施工,经过了几代人努力,自主创新、克难攻坚,在枢纽总体布置和大坝、巨型水轮发电机组、船闸、升船机、工程运行和生态环境保护、工程管理等方面取得一系列重大科技创新成果,使我国由水电大国变成了强国,成为我国走向世界的一张新名片,为我国现代化建设提供了强大推动力,对中华民族伟大复兴将产生深远影响。三峡工程是大国重器,是改革开放以来我国发展的重要标志,具有防洪、发电、航运和水资源利用等巨大综合效益,支撑和服务了长江经济带高质量发展。
        The Three Gorges Project( TGP)is a vital measure to manage and develop the Yangtze River. The successful completion and operation of the great project has realized the century-old dream of the Chinese nation. From conception,survey,planning,permitting,design to construction,the TGP has achieved a series of major breakthroughs after several generations of efforts and innovation in the project layout,the ship lock,the ship lift,the localization of super-large hydroelectric generating units,reservoir operations,ecological and environmental protection,and project management. The TGP promotes the transformation for China from a big country into a strong country in the field of hydraulic engineering,and the project has been a new business card for China to go global. It provides a strong driving force for China's modernization. Will have a profound impact on the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. As the pillar of a great power,the TGP has been an important symbol of China's development since the reform and opening-up. It had a great comprehensive benefits in flood control,power generation,shipping and water resource utilization. Support and serve the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
