摘要
塑料保存装具用于保护纸质文献的应用性能优势明显,但是有关其对纸质文献耐久性的影响研究较少。为探究塑料保存装具对纸质文献耐久性的影响,文章研究四种市售档案保护级塑料保存装具(PET-PVA-PE、PE、PP和PET)在封装(密封)和封套(敞口)状态下对酸性纸和中碱性纸耐久性的影响,选出适宜于酸性纸和/或中碱性纸保存的塑料装具,进一步研究优选的塑料保存装具对酸性和中碱性纸质文献耐久性的影响。研究结果显示,封装更适合中碱性纸而封套更适合酸性纸,在所研究的塑料保存装具中PET的保护效果最佳。PET封装对中碱性纸质文献耐久性的影响研究结果表明,PET封装延缓了所有中碱性纸质文献的老化速率;PET封套对酸性纸质文献耐久性的影响研究结果表明,PET封套对酸性纸质文献的机械性能和色差均无改善效果。因此,PET封装适用于保护中碱性纸质文献;酸性纸质文献则要慎用塑料保存装具。
        Plastic enclosures are of great significance for preserving paper literatures. However, there are few researches on the effect of different plastic preservation enclosures on the ageing of paper literatures. This paper studies the effect of PET-PVA-PE,PE,PP,PET enclosures on the ageing of acidic paper and alkaline paper.Then,it picks out the optimized plastic enclosures,on which a further study is carried out. The study finds out that encapsulation is suitable for alkaline paper while sleeves suite to acidic paper; what's more, PET works best among the plastics selected. Thus,PET encapsulation is applied to protect alkaline paper literatures while PET sleeves are used for the protection of acidic paper literatures. Results show that PET encapsulation delays the ageing process of alkaline paper literatures;however,both the mechanical strength and the color of acidic paper literatures do not improve with PET sleeves. Therefore,it is suggested that PET encapsulation is applicable for alkaline paper literatures;but it should be cautious to apply plastic products to acidic paper literatures.
