摘要
《蝇王》中,威廉·戈尔丁使用复调叙事技巧揭示作品的主题。小说的复调叙事技巧体现在人物对话、多重视角和人物意识描写等叙事技巧之上。读者通过人物的对话,判断其立场;通过其视角及心理,判断其意识形态和价值观。通过对复调叙事技巧的分析,可以发现小说通过人物的立场、思想意识及价值观等的对照凸显作品的"性本恶"主题。
William Golding reveals the theme of Lord of the Flies by using the polyphony narrative techniques:characters' dialogues,multiple points of view and consciousness representation. Readers judge characters' stances,ideologies and values according to their dialogues,points of view and consciousness representation. By analyzing and comparing different characters' stances,ideas and values in the form of polyphony we can see the novel's theme of the "evil nature of human beings."
