"体用不二"的系统论说由熊十力开启,牟宗三对其进行了道德本体论的阐释和中西文化交织的解读。熊十力的体用论强调现象与本体两个层面的连接与互动,牟宗三将"体"的内容明确为儒家的道德本体"良知","用"则被视为道德本体的呈现和外化。对"体用不二"概念的推进与细化,是牟宗三学术思想的重要步骤,它为道德形而上学的构建提供了方法论支持,是中西比较研究方法的良好运用,更为其暮年美学思考提供了成熟的学术语境。
"The unity of Ti and Yong"was discussed in a systematic way by Xiong Shili,MOU Zongsan explained it in a moral ontology way and in the background of Chinese and Western culture exchange. Xiong Shili's concept stressed on connection and interactive of phenomenon and ontology. MOU Zongsan identified Ti with moral ontology "conscience"in Confucianism,and identified Yong with conscience's appearance. The promotion and refinement of the concept of"The unity of Ti and Yong"is an important step of his whole academics,which provides the methodological support for the construction of the moral metaphysics. It is also a good use of the comparative research method of Western and Chinese,and provides academic context for his aesthetic thinking.
