摘要
《奥兰多》是弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫少有的一部采用传统叙事体创作的奇幻小说,探讨伍尔夫推崇的雌雄同体的女性主义观点,吸引大批的学者,而蕴涵其中的对于生命和死亡意义这一哲学根本问题的深刻思考则更值得研究。本文拟从这一哲学角度来分析小说的现实意义,探讨伍尔夫这部作品中体现的死亡意识。
Orlando is a fantasy novel which is rare among other stream of consciousness novels of Virginia Woolf for its traditional narrative style. Most scholars are attracted by the unique feminist concept and rogyny in this novel. However,the author thinks that the profound thinking of death and life in this novel worth more studying. Hence,this paper tries to give a new philosophical interpretation of Woolf's unique death consciousness through the textual analysis of this classical novel.
