2017年河南登封西施东区旧石器晚期遗址发掘简报

摘要
登封西施遗址位于河南省登封市大冶镇西施村东北,南侧紧邻洧河。2017年10月至12月,郑州市文物考古研究院与北京大学考古文博学院联合对西施遗址东区进行了发掘工作。发掘面积约40平方米,发掘深度4米左右,共计发现各类石制品244件,蚌壳1件,不见其他类遗存。整体来看,西施遗址东区呈现出石片石器工业与石叶工业并存现象,从遗物出土层位上看,存在较为明显的石器工业上的分层差异。
The Xishi Paleolithic site located at the 2 nd terrace of the Wei river at Xishi village,Dengfengcity,Henan Province. From October to December of 2017,the excavation was carried out by the School ofArchaeology and Museology, Peking University and Zhengzhou Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics andArchaeology. The excavated region is in the eastern part of the site. The excavation area is about 40 squaremeters and the depth is about 4 meters. 244 lithic artifacts and 1 clamshell were founded. The lithicdiscoveries distributed in the layer(2) b were made of the blade, microblade and core-flake industries,while those in the layer(3) were of the single core-flake industry. The Xishi site provides new evidences forthe study of culture revolution and human behavior during the Upper Paleolithic in north China.
