The Lao river belongs to the first-level tributary of the right bank of Weihe River. Laoyukou Hydrological Station is built at the exit of Weihe River. The station has had 74-year measured hydrological data from 1944 to 2017. By reviewing the series of measured floods at the Shuikou Hydrological Station, the reliability, consistency and representativeness of the data series were reviewed, and the hydrological station data series was well represented. According to the annual flood data of Laoyukou hydrological station 74, the flood was investigated in 1898, the frequency calculation was carried out according to the unsequence series, and the initial value of the statistical parameters was estimated by the moment method, and the P-III curve was used to estimate the appropriate line. The flood peak flow rate of the mouth of the Shuikou hydrological station is 1000 m~3/s in 100 years, and the flood peak flow rate is 790 m~3/s in 50 years. The flood peak flow rate is 640 m~3/s in 30 years, and the flood peak flow rate in 2020 is 520 m~3/s, 10 The annual peak flow rate is 340 m~3/s.
