摘要
增强型机器通信(eMTC)是一种在3GPP Release 13中引入的用于提供低功耗、广覆盖的物联网(IoT)蜂窝技术,提供与窄带物联网(NB-IoT)相比在移动性和速率上的差异化服务。分析了eMTC关键技术及其对覆盖性能的影响,围绕低成本、广覆盖以及低功耗的三大特性阐述了eMTC的技术方案,然后从覆盖角度提出了eMTC组网的站址、频段和带宽策略方案,并针对3GPP话务模型给出了eMTC的单小区容量,为eMTC网络规划提供重要依据。
        Enhanced Machine Communication(eMTC)is a kind of Internet of things(IoT)cellular technology introduced in 3 GPP Release 13 to provide low power consumption and wide coverage,providing differentiate services on mobility and speed compared with narrowband Internet of Things(NB-IoT). It analyzes the key technologies of eMTC and its impact on the coverage performance,and describes the eMTC technical solutions based on the three characteristics of low cost,wide coverage and low power consumption,and then the eMTC network site address,frequency and bandwidth strategy are proposed from the perspective of coverage. It also discusses the single cell capacity of the eMTC for the 3 GPP traffic model,which provides an important basis for eMTC network planning.
