论文电影及其五种研究路径

摘要
本文试图为论文电影(Essay Film)的研究提供五个不同的路径。首先把其历史划分为三个阶段,重点回顾了21世纪以来视频论文的创作概况。与此对应,论文电影的理论研究也分为三个阶段,本文着重介绍了2009年以来英语学界的研究情况。第三,文章回到蒙田创立Essay文体时的历史语境,分析其精神实质,把论文电影分为"说服—论文"和"独白—散文"两类。最后从希腊修辞学和阿多诺的批判哲学出发,分析了"论文电影"的论证范式和"散文电影"在超越同一性哲学方面的批判性价值。
According to the proximity to film studies, this article tries to list five distinct approaches regarding the studies of essay film. First, the history of essay film can be divided into three stages of filming essay, essay film and video essay. Accordingly, the theoretical studies of essay film also have three phases, within which the latest Anglo-American phase are particularly introduced. Also, the article traces the historical context in which Montaigne invented the form of essay, analyzing the spiritual essence of the essay, thus identifying two categories of essay films. Lastly, combining the methods of quotation and juxtaposition from the perspective of Greek rhetorics and the philosophy of Adorno, this article examines the norms of argument and the unitytranscending value of the essay film.
