关联理论视角下汉语隐喻认知及口译策略研究——以总理记者招待会为例

摘要
本研究以关联理论为视角,重点剖析出现在总理记者招待会上的汉语隐语现象及译员相应的口译应对策略和相关认知过程。关联理论将语言交际看做是明示-推理的认知行为,而口译活动作为一种特殊的语言交际活动,包含了双重的明示-推理过程。通过将认知语言学中隐喻的认知本质和最佳关联理论分析相结合,笔者发现在近年的总理记者招待会中,译员对于汉语隐语的处理有主要以下两种方式:形象保留法,转化法。研究关联理论下译员对汉语隐语的口译策略不仅可以帮助我们更好了解译员在口译活动中的对汉语隐喻口译处理的认知过程,也可以为日后实践过程中汉语隐语口译方法提供借鉴和指导。
        From the perspective of Relevance Theory, this study examines interpreters' interpreting methods and related cognitive processes in dealing with Chinese metaphors at Chinese Premiers' press conferences. As a special communicative activity, interpreting has double ostensive-inferential processes. After a careful examination, three interpreting methods are revealed to be most frequently used: image-retaining, conversion. This research opens up a window for people to better understand interpreters' cognitive processes in dealing with Chinese metaphors. The strategies proposed in this thesis also serve as good guidance on future practice of Chinese metaphor interpreting.
