With the development of coal mining deeper and deeper, the surrounding rock pressure of the roadway is getting bigger and bigger, and the support and maintenance of the full-section pressure roadway in the mine is becoming more and more prominent. In this paper, combined with the specific geological conditions of the roadway of Sanhejian Mine-980 m yard, the theoretical analysis, field practice and mine pressure observation method are applied. The characteristics of such roadway surrounding rock, the characteristics of soft rock roadway failure, the influencing factors of surrounding rock deformation, the support principle of the pressure roadway and the maintenance method of the roadway are discussed systematically. According to the typical characteristics of such roadway, the construction technology of conventional deep soft rock roadway support is established, and it is applied to the Sanhejian Mine-980 m yard roadway according to local conditions.
