美国奥本大学国际化策略和管理体制改革探析

摘要
国际化策略应当把学校核心使命、全校共识和有效实施路径三者有机结合起来。美国奥本大学是一所全美公立大学,排名榜处于中游位置。为加快全球化的脚步,将国际化策略调整和管理体制改革统一起来,整体化推进。将"全球人才+全球科研+全球伙伴+全球网络"的发展理念与凝聚全校共识的全球化策略融合,随着国际项目办公室服务功能的完善和工作效率提高,学校职能部门和学院关系的改善保障了国际化策略的实施,取得不俗的成绩。以奥本大学国际化策略为切入点,从其发生的背景与动因、具体行动和管理体制改革等方面探析成功经验,以期对我国高校的国际化建设提供有益的借鉴与参考。
The internationalization strategy should combine the value and core mission of the school,the consensus of faculty members and the effective implementation methods.As the American public school lay on the middle of US news rankings,Auburn University(AU) unified the internationalization strategy adjustment and management system reform and promoted both at the same time,in order to accelerate the pace of globalization.AU also integrated the development concept of "global talent+ global research +global partners +global network" with the strategy.With the improvement of office of international program′s function and service,strengthening interaction between administration offices and colleges,the implementation of internationalization strategy of AU made a smooth progress and achieved good results.This paper takes AU′s internationalization strategy as the beginning,analyzes their successful experience from the background and motivation of their occurrence,specific actions and management system reform as well,in order to provide useful reference for the internationalization construction of universities in China.
