Objective To compare the image quality obtained by children's head examination with different low doses of multi-slice spiral CT scan. Methods 50 children patients with multi-slice spiral CT examination from January 2015 to December 2016 in our hospital were selected for clinical study. The random number method was used to divide the children into group A and group B,with 25 cases in each group. All patients were given multi-slice spiral CT examination of the head.Children in group A were given low doses of 120 kV and 150 mAs for testing.Children in group B were given low doses of 90 kV and 150 mAs for testing. The quality of CT scans was evaluated in all children patients and the radiation values of the children patients were statistically analyzed. Results The excellent CT scan in group A was 92.00%,which was higher than that of 84.00% in group B,but there was no statistical difference(P >0.05).The average radiation of(32.44±5.18) mGy in group A was significantly higher than that of(27.18±4.62) mGy in group B,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion Low-dose spiral CT examination with 90 kV and 150 m As can not only guarantee the image quality but also reduce the radiation value of the children.
