译员自我修正在新闻报道中的表征和接受——以中国政府记者招待会口译为例
摘要
本研究以中国政府记者招待会口译及其相关主流英文新闻报道为语料,对译员自我修正及其在21例新闻报道话语表征中的接受情况进行分析。研究发现:超过90%的新闻报道话语表征接受了译员自我修正,其中近半数为完全引用,保留译员不流利的自我修正痕迹;新闻报道话语表征对译员自我修正的明晰化,凸显了新闻媒体对现场口译译语的认可和重视,同时译员在自我修正时添加的内容可能影响媒体对政府发言人原话的理解,引发符合媒体需求的评论;译员自我修正主要使用重译策略,但重译修正的译语由于明显的不流利表达,更易在新闻报道中被删除。这提示我们在口译教学中要反思重译和补充修正策略,增加对真实口译案例中译员自我修正接受效果的讨论。
