摘要
文章介绍了相控阵超声波检测(PAUT)工艺的原理,并对薄壁管人工缺陷焊缝分别进行PAUT及RT检测,分析PAUT检测在薄壁管焊缝检测中的能力及可靠性。通过试验数据分析表明,PAUT检测在薄壁管焊缝检测中具有良好的能力及可靠性,且满足标准相关要求。最后介绍了PAUT检测影响因素及其在海洋石油平台工艺管道检测中的优势。
This paper introduces the principle of phase array ultrasonic testing( PAUT) technique and the PAUT and RT inspections of artificial defects made in welds in thin wall pipes,and analyzes the inspection ability and reliability of PAUT for welds of thin wall pipes. The experiment results show that PAUT is a perfect means to inspect weld defects of thin wall pipes. Also, the influence factors of PAUT and its application advantages in offshoreoil platform piping inspection are described.
