The influence of blending ratio on the mechanical properties and shape memory performance of trans-polyisoprene( TPI)/poly( butylene succinate)( PBS) blends was studied. The results showed that crosslinking density, mechanical properties, shape stimulation temperature and shape recovery ratio of TPI/PBS blends all decreased with increasing PBS amount. The comprehensive properties of the blends were better when the mass ratio of TPI/PBS was 90/10. The mechanical properties and shape memory performance of the blends were improved after the incorporation of compatibilizer CPE.
